dc.description.abstractWIG ships are highly efficient and fast transport vehicles which take advantage of benefits of ground effect. Russia has shown the leading-edge technology in WIG ship development. It’s shown that the important problems to be treated carefully in WIG ship design procedure through reviewing the Russia’s WIG ships. New trend in WIG ship technology is presented as well.-
