dc.description.abstract | The air ventilation problem for LTV (Large Transport Vehicle) is simulated by using a commercial CFD tool. A cell center based finite volume method is utilized to solve the governing equations for multi species turbulent flow. For turbulence closure the standard k-ω turbulent model is introduced. The performance of the designed ventilating device (vent and fan) for LTV is validated to check the volume fraction variation of the air from each vent in the LTV inside. The thermal effect of the exhaust air of LCAC on LTV hull surface can be also investigated from the well developed present CFD result. It is certain that the accurate numerical geometry model and adequate physical conditions for a given flow problem will promise an accurate and useful CFD result. | - |
