Until now, the stealth design of the ship's IR signature haven't been performed under the right design criteria. The study in terms of the ocean environment conditions of the Korean waters hasn't been accomplished yet, so the design criteria of ocean environment was just given by the sense of engineering with the lack of the experience from the Navy and the shipyard. In rather good conditions(ex. summer condition), it resulted in decreasing ship IR signature and the worst condition that would meet during the ship's real running process wasn't expressed. Therefore, The analysis study on the IR signature sensitivity according to the meteorological environment in Korean Waters must be performed. In this study, it was carried to collect domestic maritime meteorological data and to derive variables affecting the ship IR signature, because the ship's IR signature was indicated sensitive by the maritime-meteorological environment. By studying the characteristic of IR signature in accordance with the environmental variables in Korean Waters. the base study on the standard of analysis environment has been performed.-
