dc.description.abstract | Fire has been a major cause of loss of physical and human resources for naval ships because they are loaded with combustible fuels for operation as well as explosive arms for battle. It is important factors for securing a fire safety to analyze a prediction of safe evacuation time and a possibility of flashover. This paper carried out a fire simulation with defining simplified compartments of ship and characteristics of fire resources. The progression and diffusion of fire could be predicted by an analysis of simulation results. It also proposed a method to transfer fire characteristics into downstream process such as evacuation analysis systems by designing an information model of simulation results. The process of fire simulation from a compartment modeling to an interface of downstream systems would be defined and the fire safety design on naval ships has been secured by taking a fire simulation and predicting a fire progression. | - |
