dc.description.abstract | An infrared signature should be highly sensitive to meteorological environmental conditions and stealth performance should change with varying marine climate conditions. Accordingly, it is imperative to establish environmental criteria for the design of an infrared stealth ship. In this study, marine climate data for the sea near the Korean Peninsula were collected, and the marine meteorological environment in Korean waters was defined. Based on this data, a study on the sensitivity of the IR signature of target objects was performed by analytical methods. Consequently, a basic study for defining the marine environmental criteria required to develop an IR stealth ship was carried out, and also the related study for the definition method of IR signature magnitudes was performed. | - |
