dc.description.abstract | STEP AP218 has a standard schema to represent the structural model for ship. It consists of manufacturing data for parts and assemblies as well as design data for ship structure. This paper carried out a generation of abstract test cases (ATC) for manufacturing data of ship structure. To generate ATC, an investigation and analysis of unit of functionality and application objects in STEP AP218 document has been achieved. We also propose the application plan for an integration of Ship STEP and STEP Manufacturing standard which specifies numerical control (NC) machines and robots. The seamless data flow from design system to manufacturing system by STEP standards will maximize a productivity of shipbuilding and it will be strengthen the competitiveness of Korea shipbuilding industry. | - |
