Oh, D.H. Jung and D.S. Moon DOWARC. Ocean System Research Laboratory, MOERI, KORDI Key Word : Deep Ocean Water (해양심층수), Resource Characteristics (자원 특성), Development Method (개발방안), Feasibility (타당성) Abstract Deep ocean water (DOW), which is plentiful in the East sea, can be defined as clean, nutrient-rich and cold seawater. Due to distance from the position of deep seawater to land is not only closer than 5 km but also further than 5 km, feasible planning of each development methods is very important. This study has evaluated economical feasibility of land-based type development for near shore deep seawater and folating type development for offshore type development. And we discussed best development and utilization methods from reflecting their merit and demerit. | - |
