dc.description.abstractAs a basic study for establishing a influence forecasting/estimating model, used for deep sea water discharge to the ocean, this study wa scarried out as follows; 1)numerical modeling of tidal current and water temperature/salinity diffusion, 2)numerical prediction of nutrient circulation by SWEM model. The calculation results of the tidal currents by the numerical model showed good agreement with the observed currents, and SWEM simulated reasonably well the concenttration of water quality such as COD, T_N and T_P. According to the simulation of temperature diffusion at the developing region of deep sea water in the Esat sea, it was predicted that temperature decreased about 1oC centering around discharging point with 20,000 ton/day discharge condition of DWS, the maximum area is about 0.3km east and west, about 1.0km north and south. And as the result of numerical prediction of nutrient circulation concentration of COD, T_N and T-P was increased, increased and decreased by discharged deep sea water, respectively.-
