dc.description.abstract | Complex density models are the efficient tools applicable to the ocean waveguide sediment. In this paper, we introduce two complex density models, which are called the equivalent fluid model and the suspended model, respectively, and show their validities and applicability to practical problems. The validity is analyzed with respect to the frequency range, the shear rigidity and the grazing angle toward the fluid/porous bottom boundary. Then, the results of applications of two complex density models are discussed. As the applications, the equivalent fluid model is employed to the geo-acoustic inversion for the experimental data of MAPLE 2004 and the suspended model is used to be compared with the 100 kHz reflection data of the fluid/sand and the fluid/glass bead boundary. | - |
