dc.description.abstractThis paper presents some results whole composite structural design for 1.2 ton-class WIG craft, which is an experimental one for the verification of hydrodynamic and aerodynamic performances of the 20passenger-class WIG craft. The structural concept is approached by skin-stressed design method that skin carries major stresses with its carry-through bulkheads and longerons, In this stage, global and local loads are defined for this small type WIG craft, and the structural sizing is performed. The general airframe design process is adopted for the structural design. Critical flight loads and the wave impact loads are considered for the final verification of this structural design process. Definition of load conditions and fundamental analysis by FEM are used for whole skin sizing results.-
