dc.description.abstract | A test collector for deep-seabed manganese nodules, which aims at the use for near-shore sea test, was designed. Hybrid pick-up device, track-type vehicle, nodule crusher, chassis structure, electric and hydraulic system, electronic and communication system, and monitoring system were designed. For the purpose of development of design technologies, 3D time-domain computer simulation program for total mining system and multi-disciplinary design optimization (MDO) technique were de-veloped. | - |
