dc.description.abstract | According to the development of the ships navigational equipment, a bridge system has been improved but marine accidents by human error haven't been reduced. Recently our interest is concentrated on a suitable ergonomic arrangement and design of the ships bridge equipment to reduce errors due to human factors. The bridge Conning Display should be designed to recognize the information as soon as possible and to deliver it clearly. Internationally, the matter is being discussed on the IBS(Integration Bridge System) in a view of an ergonomic bridge design, but a practical design method is not getting result.. In this paper I would like to review an application approach of human engineering ergonomics to a bridge conning display and propose a conceptual design of the Ergonomic Integrated Bridge Conning Display | - |
