dc.description.abstract | A deep-seabed miner integrated system is excavating and transporting system of manganese nodules from deep seafloor to surface vessel system. The deep-seabed miner integrated system consists of the deep-seabed miner, lifting system and surface vessel system. The deep-seabed miner has many sensors and actuators with embedded controller, which is controlled remotely in real-time. Therefore, this system needs GUI program for controlling and monitoring the deep-seabed miner efficiently. However, because this system is expensive, fragile and unique, it is hard to test. So, Simulator, called as Hardware-in-the-loop simulation, which can reduce the cost and save the time of testing is deeply needed. In this paper, a HILS for a control and monitoring system of the deep-seabed miner integrated system is designed and developed. The HILS aims at an efficient pre-test of the system design performance. | - |
