dc.description.abstract | This paper describes the series of model tests including the measurements of self-propulsion points, flowrate, upstream intake flow velocity distribution, jet velocity distribution, etc for a warship with three waterjets, and full-scale prediction by momentum flux method. A warship with three waterjets distributes output of propulsion for wing and center waterjets, though same ship speed unlike that with two waterjts. In general, only wing waterjets are operated at low speed range, and those of wing and center at high speed rang. Full-scale performance predicted from model test is satisfied with design requirement. | - |
