dc.description.abstract | As advance of 3D graphic technologies, the real-time M&S(Modeling & Simulation) technology has been developed in manufacturing industries as well as game and entertainment industries. M&S in a product design and manufacturing is extended to DMU(Digital Mock-up) and real-time simulation. The verification and validation processes of product design and performance grows with real-time M&S. Testings within simulation environments are increased in a shipbuilding industry which has a difficulty to making prototypes. A lot of 3D graphic engines(kernels) are developed for application of manufacturing industries. In this paper, we classified and analyzed functional requirements for MOERI/KORDI Real-time M&S environments. Assessment parameters are defined for satisfaction of the requirements. We also suggest the assessment methods for conformance testing of 3D graphic engines within MOERI/KORDI Real-time M&S environments. | - |
