dc.description.abstractThis paper evaluates the hydroelastic responses of a floating marine airport which was designed by MOERI as a demonstration VLFS. The marine airport has three parts such as ship terminal, airport terminal and runaway. Stiffness and mass distribution of the marine airport are nonuniform because draft and hull strength of the ship terminal part are larger than those of the other parts. By comparing the responses of a structure with uniform stiffness, the influence of nonuniform stiffness on responses is studied.-
