dc.description.abstract | A deep sea AUV is planned to be developed in KORDI, which will explore the methane hydrate seeping site of East Sea. The AUV's depth rating will be 3,000 meters the maximum depth of East Sea. At the stage of primitive design, we have considered type of hull, required equipments to be installed for accomplishing the given mission, propulsion systems and power sources. Also we have investigated AUVs of over 1,000 meters depth rating all over the world. We have managed to set up the outline of our AUV plan. In this, we state the some statistical analysis of specifications of deep sea AUVs and the procedures of designing the hull structure, the propulsion system and the pressure canister of our deep sea AUV. | - |
