The next generation Differential GPS architecture (RSIM architecture) was defined by engineers at the U.S. Coast Guard Command and Control Center (C2CEN). It is an enhanced system which can overcome adaptability to accommodate equipment changes, new signals, new functionality, and new services. Fundamental requirements for the enhanced system are that it be sufficiently flexible in hardware and software design to support fluid growth and exploitation of new signals and technologies as they become available, yet remain backward compatible with legacy user receivers and existing site hardware and system architecture. For developing the software-based Reference Station and Integrity Monitor (RSIM) technologies, therefore, this paper address the design of enhanced Reference System architecture with GPS receiver interface module (GRIM). To archive this study, it first designs enhanced Reference Station architecture using GRIM, operational module for control and monitor of GPS receivers, module for generating the DGPS corrections and converting to RTCM format, and it than broadcasts the DGPS corrections to user receivers using MSK modulator. Finally, this paper presents the analysis results for verifying the proposed system architecture.-
