dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a development result of database system for test miner system to mine deep-seabed manganese. This test miner system is a tracked vehicle system which drives on the sea-bed. Test miner operating system consists of 4 PCs. PXI Remote and PXI Host PCs control actuators and acquire sensor data. The monitoring PC monitors status of test miner in real-time, and the database PC saves sensor data and actuator control data. The test miner system needs to monitor a lot of sensors and to control actuators. Therefore, as operating test miner system, a lot of sensor monitoring data and actuator control data were created. For effectively managing test miner data, so the database system is needed. Database system receives data from the PXI Host, and saves them in the database PC. This database system is developed using Microsoft SQL Server. Data saving and data searching programs are developed by LDC(Labview Database Connectivity) toolset | - |
