dc.description.abstract | We propose a new medium access control (MAC) protocol referred to as a clustered time division multiple access (CTDMA) MAC protocol for a clustered underwater acoustic network (UANet). The CTDMA can adaptively allocate the number of time slots each cluster by considering the mobility of underwater nodes (UNs). It can be expected that the CTDMA can reduce overall end-to-end delay as well as enhance the channel utilization, compared with existing TDMA MAC protocol. | - |
