dc.description.abstractThe paper deals with a approach to underwater acoustic communication, which allows major design strategies for Media Access Control (MAC) within clustered network. The proposed MAC is referred to as a mobile nodes based adaptable TDMA (MA-TDMA) that decides transmission scheduling based on round trip time (RTT) of nodes and lessen the length of time slot. It can be expected that the MA-TDMA can reduce overall end-to-end delay as well as enhance the channel utilization, compared with existing TDMA MAC protocol.-
