dc.description.abstractA numerical method to analyze wave induced responses of multiple floating body considering link connection stiffness is presented in this paper. Link connection is described by equivalent spring & damper model and the modified equation of motion of floating body is derived using minimum energy principle considering the link model. In order to validate the presented method, a two-body floating structure with link connection is analyzed. Wave induced motions of the floating body and resultant wave loads at the connection are investigated. The results are also compared with those of floating body without link connection.-
