dc.description.abstractThis paper introduces the development status of MDV(Mine Disposal Vehicle) and explains the principal mission, function, specifications of newly constructed MDV. The guidance, navigation and control strategies under severe ocean currents are described. MDV has mission sensors such as foward looking sonar for longer range and multi-beam imaging sonar for identification of mine in turbid water. This paper also describes the remains to complete the entire MDV requirements.-
