dc.description.abstract | The alternative energy has lately attracted consideration attention due to the high oil price and environment problems. Ocean water that is one of the natural energy sources should be getting popular continually to reduce the environment problems. Ocean water has the possibility that we can use various ways such as deep ocean water, OTEC, wave power. Deep ocean water is able to use direct cooling for heat exchange because its temperature is 3~4℃. In this study, we selected the model building for the economics of deep ocean water cooling system. The model building locates near East Sea and has deep ocean water intake system. If that building uses cooling system using deep ocean water, it could reduce the initial cost. And we compared a cooling system using deep ocean water with an existing system. The results of the study will show an economics and improvement of deep ocean water cooling system. | - |
