dc.description.abstract | The measured velocity fields through the stereo-PIV are compared with the results of the 5-hole pitot tube. In this procedure, the flow-based calibration method was applied in order to increase the accuracy of measured velocity fields. Both the pitot tube and SPIV results are almost identical but SPIVs results have the advantage of identifying vortex structure. It is expected that the obtained results would be used as a new data set for CFD validation since it has a better resolution in mean flow and turbulence data as well. | - |
