The spilt oil is a complex and variable natural substance. When oil is released into the shoreline, it can be affect coastal ecosystems and human environments. Oil is weathered and spread depending on its properties and shoreline features over time by physical and chemical processes. Accordingly, initial shoreline cleanup is the most important to avoiding the complex problems and much geographic information is required to choose oil spill response method. There are a lot of oil-sensitive resources like beaches, mud flats, wildlife habitats and so on at coastal area. Besides, there are many socio-economic features such as harbors, marinas, industrial facilities, recreational resources, cultural or historical sites which are related to different people and organizations. Most of them are stakeholders in the shoreline and then interested in the response strategy. It is very hypersensitive issue to choose the response method and the response end points. These geographic features are too various to categorize their environmental sensitivity and economic sensitivity against oil pollution. Because of the complexity of the oil spills in coastal area, it is difficult to decide the response strategy which various people can agree with. Most of oil spills are related to the financial issues like the compensation for the damage. Cleanup decisions depend on accurate and sufficient information about-
