dc.description.abstract | The integrity monitoring function of maritime DGPS can ensure that the maritime DGPS users are safe against position errors due to satellite anomalies such as satellite clock and ephemeris failure. Unfortunately, some maritime DGPS systems recognize all of the tracking satellites as the incorrect satellites under the satellite anomaly circumstances, so that those systems are unable to guarantee the appropriate integrity retaining the normal DGPS position accuracy. Thus, this paper deals with an anomaly monitoring method to prevent maritime DGPS integrity malfunction. First, this paper presents the integrity monitoring process of the traditional maritime DGPS and the impact of the satellite anomaly on DGPS receiver. Then, it is shown that the cause of maritime DGPS malfunction is the absence of anomaly detection and identification. In this paper, a parity space approach for satellite anomaly monitoring is proposed to effectively overcome the maritime DGPS integrity malfunction. Finally, this paper verifies the anomaly detection and identification performance of the proposed parity space approach through experiment using a GPS simulator. | - |
