dc.description.abstract | DGPS RSIM now in operation provides integrity monitor function that monitors minimum number of satellites, PRC/RRC, UDRE, Correction Age, PR/RR Residual and Absolute Position Error. However, it is not possible to provide DGPS service in case of satellite outage and anomaly. In response, there have been several researches to improve the integrity monitor function of DGPS. However, most of them have simply focused on navigation for aviation, failing to address the integrity monitoring needs for navigation for maritime.Therefore, this paper has attempted to detect and identify the satellite anomaly for maritime DGPS RSIM. First of all, it has analyzed the integrity monitoring function of current maritime DGPS RSIM, and then identified its limitations in order to secure an integrity monitoring system that could ensure reliability against potential outage or failure of GNSS service. In addition, it has simulated an actual GPS anomaly case with GPS signal generator to analyze the limitation of integrity monitoring function. Finally, this paper has presented the brief test results using the proposed method for detection and identification of satellite anomaly. | - |
