dc.description.abstractIn the present study, a hull design for floating wind turbine platform with 5MW class is presented from the model test & numerical calculation. A design concepts are simple to construct, cost effective, and smaller draft than SPAR. A parametric study on a various shape & dimension of wind turbine platforms was carried out using 9-node HOBEM(Higher Order Boundary Element Method). A series of model tests for selected prototype wind turbine platform was conducted at Ocean Engineering Basin, KORDI.
