A Study on the Noise Measurement of the Propeller and the Rudder in the Large Cavitation Tunnel

Abstract

In this paper, noise measurement tests carried out in the KORDI large cavitation tunnel are described and the results are presented. The aim of the experiments was measuring the noises generated by two types of propeller and comparing their noise characteristics. In addition, noises generated by propel-rudder interaction were measured and the results are presented in the paper.heir noise characteristics.
