dc.description.abstract | MOERI/KIOST developed a nonlinear time domain dynamic coupled solver for floating body and mooring system based on BEM and FEM. And, performance of a floating storage weathervane ship was evaluated using the solver. This paper investigates mooring stiffness of the weathervane ship in sway & yaw directions and analytically shows that system matrix of sway and yaw is singular at body center.
