dc.description.abstractIn this study, numerical method for berthing and de-berthing simulation between FSRU and LNGC was developed. Time-domain floating body analysis method was applied to describe the motions of FSRU and LNGC. In order to deal with hydrodynamic interaction wave forces more accurately, interpolation scheme according to seperation distance was introduced. Push and Pull mode of tugs were numerically simulated by adopting PD controller and power optimization algorithm. Using the developed numerical method, berthing and de-berthing simulations were carried out. Firstly, the effect of berthing speed and tugs was investigated by calm-water simulations.
