dc.description.abstract | CCS is one of the options to mitigate climate change and global warming. It is helpful to compare oversea geological storage project with demonstration project plan of ours. Because, we dont have the experience for the offshore CO2 geological storage. The Tomakomai project of Japan goal reference due to its similar geological locations. The demonstration project be perform in the offshore sediments, CCS demonstraion projects in Republic of Korea and Japan(tomakomai project) were analyzed. In 2008 JCCS Co, Tomakomai Project was screened from one of the three CCS demonstration projects candidates in Japan. Oil and gas field exploration data and newly twice 3D seismic survey conducted, and then storage candidates determined Moebestu Fm. & Takinoue Fm. Researching from MLTM, CCS demonstration projects were compared and analyzed. Storage, transportation and injection, and monitoring techniques were compared. First, Storage. Depth of Takinoue Fm. & Moebestu Fm. are 1,200 m and 2,400 m, and are composed of sandstone and volcanic rocks. Permeability and porosity are 20-40%, 9-25md and 3-19%, 0.01md- 22.6D. Domestic storage candidate exists between the approximately 800-3000m and 18-22% of porosity and the maximum 197 md of permeability(by KNOC data). Second, transportation and injection. In case of Tomakomai Project, distance is approximately 2.5km and by gas pipeline, and amount of injection COological storage.
