dc.description.abstract | An numerical study to investigate the motion and mooring dynamics of turret moored FPSO in extreme environmental conditions is conducted. The motions and wave drift forces are calculated by boundary element method and the mooring line dynamics are solved by finite element method. The coupled analysis is adopted to consider the motion of FPSO and mooring simultaneously. The responses in irregular waves are simulated in time domain.
