dc.description.abstract | It is important to manage and utilize practically various data generated in life-cycle of ships and offshore plants. The master scheme for data exchange between various organization should be established. The configuration of information classification scheme would be a fundamental plan to exchange heterogeneous data. In this paper, we have analyzed information classifications of legacy system in shipping companies and SWBS(Ship Work Breakdown Structure). To classify hull parts, we also have analyzed CHS(Continuous Hull Survey) and PSC check list. we have developed technical documents and implemented an information classification program for DEX(Data EXchange) for ships.n classification scheme would be a fundamental plan to exchange heterogeneous data.
