dc.description.abstractThis research is to review of a various international standards on the buckling strength equations of wind turbine. IEC standard is basically based on the Eulers formula regarding buckling strength design and analysis. The Eulers formula can consider the strength of wind turbine structure within elastic limit of materials. On the other hand, the Eurocode can give more advanced solution of strength analysis considering plastic limit of materials and realistic condition than Eulers formula. In this study, we tried to find the difference and critical items among the international standards for wind turbine. The result of this study provides the difference of buckling strength algorithm for wind turbine between IEC and Eurocode which may be useful in developing the structural design of wind turbine.rmula can consider the strength of wind turbine structure within elastic limit of materials.
