dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an experimental study for wave force on semi-submersible offshore structure. A series of model tests with 1:80 scale ratio were carried out in two-dimensional wave basin of MOERI/KIOST. The experimental model has two columns and one pontoon. The model was fixed and wave force were measured at the top of each column. Two different draft (operational & survival) conditions and two wave height were considered under the regular wave conditions. Three different current speeds(0, -5, +5 Knots) are tested.
