dc.description.abstractOffshore wind turbine system is studied in this paper. The paper is dealing with the base structure for wind turbine which is operated in the relatively deep sea. The SPAR structure was selected as a base structure for offshore wind turbine system and several damping devices for reduction of motion. Three types of damping devices are presented which are air chamber type, underwater tube type and punchea bottom fin type. All types of damping devices for SPAR structure are examined its performance by means of model experiment.-
