dc.description.abstract | Underwater acoustic channel impulse responses change in short-term and long-term scales in the time domain. Their statistical properties depend on the propagation path types: direct, surface-reflected, bottom-reflected, etc. [1]. It is widely known that there exist internal waves in the East China Sea. It is expected that the time varying characteristics are complex at the experimental site for SAVEX15. The statistical characteristics of MIMO data or by a moving source will be highly related with those of the internal waves as well as the surface waves. The measurements of surface wave behavior and sound speed profiles are crucial for the analysis. These physical phenomena also affect the performance of source localization and underwater acoustic communications.ly known that there exist internal waves in the East China Sea.
