dc.description.abstractThe model tests of FPSO of broken mooring line are carried out in ocean basin at KRISO. The characteristics of motions and mooring lines are investigated. The FPSO is moored by internal turret and catenary mooring. The test model is 1/60 scale. The mooring lines are designed to satisfy the characteristics of original mooring lines by the truncation method. The experiments are conducted in combined environments waves, currents and winds at safety conditions and single mooring line failure mode conditions. The results shows that the mooring line tensions are acceptable in failure condition.ale.
