dc.description.abstract | A deep-seabed mining system consists of a mining vessel, a carrier, a lifting pipe, a buffer, a flexible pipe, and a mining robot. For improvement of mining production, researches on a new concept of mining system are needed. The system of the new concept collaboratively works between multiple mining robots connected in parallel to the buffer. In order to consider the large deflection with small strain beam problem, the substructure method of the lifting pipe system and a flexible pipe system have been utilized. For efficient analysis of integrated system with multiple mining robots, the subsystem synthesis method has been applied to the integrated mining system. Theoretical study for the efficiency of the proposed method has been carried out by comparing operating counts between the proposed method and the conventional method.the new concept collaboratively works between multiple mining robots connected in parallel to the buffer.
