dc.description.abstract | It is essential that the driving characteristics of the roller should be analyzed to design the deep-seabed mining robot. The robot was designed as four-rows tracked vehicle. This travelling mechanism is composed of a sprocket, an idle, upper and lower rollers. In this study, we carried out the experiment to analyze the driving performance of the lower rollers. We have verified the driving performance of the roller for deep-seabed mining robot, considering the temperature and viscosity.er and lower rollers.
