dc.description.abstract | This paper presents an experimental study on motion of FPSO and characteristics of mooring system according to the turret position. The model test of turret moored FPSO are carried out in Ocean basin. The FPSO is moored by internal turret and catenary mooring. The models of 1/60 scale are prepared including FPSO, turret and mooring lines. Time-domain simulation is performed by OrcaFlex. The experiments are conducted in irregular wave and combined environments waves, currents and winds. The results shows that the stability of weathervaning is improved when the position of turret is moved to bow direction.nd catenary mooring.
