dc.description.abstractIn this Study, the corrosion characteristics of CO2 transport pipeline with H2O, SO2, NO2 impurities was investigated. The experimental apparatus was designed to simulate the corrosion behavior during artificial transportation conditions. The test specimen was zinc phosphate coated steel tube. The coating thickness was 25um and the test tube was filled with CO2 mixture with various impurities mentioned above. Test condition was maintained in the temperature controlled room. The result showed that H2O concentration should be controlled below the water solubility limit in the case of NO2 or SO2 existence. Even though the H2O concentration in the CO2 stream is lower than the water solubility limit, the SO2 and NO2 concentration should be strictly controlled.The test specimen was zinc phosphate coated steel tube.
