dc.description.abstractIn this study, the effect of H2O impurities during the depressurization of CO2 pipeline was investigated. The transient blowdown test was conducted with 10% H2O and 20 condition. To study the effect of initial ℃ pressure, pressure of CO2-H2O mixture was controlled as 70, 100 and 120 bar. During the blowdown, the pressure variations of CO2-H2O mixture showed shorter saturation behavior compared with that of CO2-N2 mixture. In addition, there were negligible changes in the departure temperatures from the saturation conditions with initial pressure variations. In conclusion, the depressurization of CO2 pipeline should be carefully controlled with the variations of impurities.2-H2O mixture was controlled as 70, 100 and 120 bar.
