dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to analyze the relation between mental workload and sea state/day condition, we compared to variation of ship navigator’s physiology signal. The experiment was carried out in the Full Mission Simulator of KRISO. We measured a officer’s mental workload based on ECG (Electrocardiogram) and NASA-TLX. The selected scenarios is departure in Busan. The results from ECG and NASA-TLX analysis showed a similar tendency. As the sea state is increased, it showed a high workload. Also, the results showed a high variation in the night than the day. Further experiments to be performed with a variety of subjects.
