dc.description.abstractIn this study, the mooring system of multiple SPAR structures for the wind farm development was conceptually designed. To reduce the installation cost of the mooring system and have stable motion responses, multiple SPAR structures are connected to each others using the connectors and moored to each of mooring lines. The arrangement and stiffness of mooring lines affect global motion responses and loads applied on the connectors dominantly. Four SPAR type floating structures were arranged in a rhombus shape, and motion response of each structure and loads applied on the connectors were analyzed and compared by changing the arrangement and strength of the mooring system. With this results, the design of the mooring system of four SPAR type floating structures was proposed.ected to each others using the connectors and moored to each of mooring lines.
