dc.description.abstract | Experiment with numerical analysis both are attempted to investigate the behavior of the TLP with tender semi-submersible. At first, the behavior of the TLP is validated by experiments with numerical analysis which based on the potential flow. After the validation of TLP was over, semi-submersible is installed next to the TLP with close proximity. In the free decay test of multi-body system, complicated plane motion time series are acquired. To analyze these complex behaviors, mass-spring system is adopted. Eigenvalue analysis on the system is conducted and show good agreements with experimental results.ow.
