dc.description.abstractThe present study considers the development of hydrodynamic solver on fixed platform during offshore decommissioning. The hydrodynamic solver was developed based on API and DNV recommended practices. Empirical formulations for inertial and drag coefficients were applied and corrections due to seabed and free-surface effects were made. The program was verified through several numerical tests and validated with CFD results on a simple structure.
