dc.description.abstractIn this paper, The effect of wave-current interaction acting on TLP is studied experimentally. Electro-resistant type. 2D TLP model with 1:100 scale ratio was utilized in order to figure out the effect of wave-current interaction acting on the offshore structure. The experimental model was firmly fixed at the top side and 2-axis loadcells were installed at the joints. Also, two wave probes were installed at each column in order to measure the wave profile near the structure. Typical range of waves and currents were considered while the incident wave height was enlarged up to 8m, in order to identify the effect of wave non-linearity. Variations of external forces and wave profiles due to wave-current interaction were analyzed.the offshore structure.
